Learn from a master
Internationally-acclaimed animator Richard Reeves will be holding two introduction to animation workshops leading up to the 7th Siding Festival of Film. Participant works will then be shown at the festival November 15, 16 and/or 17th.
One-day 16 mm cameraless animation October 26
$60 KFS Members • $75 non-members
Using repurposed 16 mm film stock, participants will use a variety of tools to apply colour and shapes directly onto blank film for projection as an animated motion picture – including at the 7th Siding Festival of Films .
Two-day 8 mm camera animation November 2-3
$100 KFS Members • $120 non-members
Participants will use actual 8 mm cameras to record a sequence of shots and then develop the film for projection – including at the 7th Siding Festival of Films.
